Meet the team
Matt has been building and renovating homes for over 20 years and, with brother Edd, ran the award-winning development company Portus Homes. In 2021 he and Edd decided to focus on the elements they loved the most and so came together with Jason to found Hub Interiors. Passionate about both design and technology Matt originally studied graphic design and enjoys bringing concepts to life through the real-world 3D visualisation that has become one of the hallmarks of the Hub Interiors service.
Matt Gorvin / Director
Edd established his reputation in property development by running award-winning Portus Homes with Matt. He is a self-confessed problem solver and is committed to applying his breadth of building and interiors skills to deliver for his clients in the most effective way, with minimal disruption and maximum delight. Wife Laura is also a part of the business, supporting the team with her skills in design and 3D visualisation.
Edd Gorvin / Director
Jason has 30 years’ experience designing kitchens and interior spaces and was, in 2003, presented with the prestigious Kitchen Designer of the Year Award by Kevin McLoud and Sir Terence Conran. Bringing his eye for detail and creative flair to Hub Interiors, Jason believes that the best commendation is the work itself. He is proud of the relationships the business has built and the fact that most of Hub’s work has come from recommendations and happy clients returning time and time again.
Jason Vickers / Director
For Lowe, design has always been about connection - between people, space, and the quiet details that bring them together. With more than ten years’ experience in the kitchen and interiors industry, she approaches every project with calm confidence and creative clarity.
After graduating from AUB’s Interior Architecture & Design course in 2016, Lowe felt drawn to stay close to the sea and forest, the textures, light, and rhythm of the Dorset landscape continue to influence her work today.
Growing up in a creative family instilled an early passion for making and problem-solving. That same spirit defines her approach now: listening deeply, interpreting briefs with empathy, and crafting thoughtful, beautiful spaces that feel both functional and personal.
Lowe / Designer
Laura’s journey into kitchen and interior design began close to home. Watching her husband’s property development projects unfold, sparked a keen interest into how thoughtful design transforms living spaces. A former teacher, she eventually transitioned from education into the world of interiors and now combines creativity with clear communication – helping clients see their future spaces using 3D visualisation software.
